Well. . . we enjoyed 5 wonderful months in Yakima, but in order to have a job, we have moved to Utah. Todd is working with the same group he did in Vegas, but now they have a new venture for him in SLC. We found a house to rent in Bluffdale (west of the Ikea or prison-- part way between Provo and Salt Lake). It's out where there's some space around us, which Todd (growing up in Texas) has been wanting for awhile. The people here are very down to earth and friendly which we enjoy very much. The kids have been happy in their new school- which is good. It's hard starting over again- I still miss friends in Las Vegas and then got to also love many wonderful people in Yakima.
We moved a week and a half ago. My mom, dad, Lisa and Alan were lifesavers at helping us with all the "little stuff" at the end, as well as of course all the big stuff. Dallin was going strong all day and then finally just stopped and napped in the middle of the floor.
That old Yakima house was awesome.
There was a beach party at the elementary school so we dressed up a bit for it.
2 1/2 weeks til the baby is due. I love feeling it move around in my belly.

Oh my!! What a whirlwind! Thanks for the update on the move! We'll be in Washington in March and I was hoping we might find a reason to go to Yakima, but I'm sure we'll be in Utah sometime.. Looking foward to the arrival of baby 5. Hope you are feeling good and that everything goes smoothly for you! We love you guys!!

Hi Kari! Thanks for the comments on my blog. I can't believe you guys are moving too. It sounds like it will be a great move for your family. Also, congrats on baby #5. It sounds like "it" will be here in no time(not sure if you know what you're having). We miss you guys in Vegas and wish you the best with your new advendture!
Wow! That was a shock to hear. But then, it is nice to have a job! Sounds like life has been anything but dull for your family. And now you get to have a baby! The excitement continues.
So fun to finally get an update! Please post pictures of your cool house. Glad the kids are adjusting to school. Nate and Alysee sure miss their friends.

I do the next "next blog" thing a lot :) Just thought I'd tell you welcome to Utah! My husband and I love it (we're up by Layton), but we just got transferred to Florida for the second time so we'll be heading out of here this summer. We will miss it!! Hope you enjoy!
