Fun weekend

Today was Todd and my 12th anniversary. The girls decorated our room as a surprise.
Where did all these kids come from?
Here we are at 10pm making a cake while the boys were out camping. I love girls nights (with Russ).

summer fun

I've enjoyed having all the kids home from school. We made these marshmallow/toothpick creations (and there has been some wii playing as well)
The girls started dressing up the kitties. They will miss them- but they are going to new homes!

home from Texas

Here is a picture of Russell Ames (95) with little Russell Ames (16 mths)
Remember the Alamo!
Nice shades. The kids enjoyed being outside in the pool, fishing with Grandpa down at the creek, playing with cousins, eating ice cream out on the deck, making hairbows & bracelets with their Aunts, riding the golf-kart around and staying up late.

On Father's Day Todd got out a bunch of his old trophies from when he was younger. The kids loved looking at them and each wanted one for their rooms. Todd thought of getting them a big trophy for memorizing all 13 Articles of Faith. Lincoln has done it. He's a good kid and we love him.

Todd took the 2 oldest to hike the "Y". They had so much fun.

I just had to share this picture. Did Russ understand us when we said make a silly face? Oh and notice he's wearing the same shirt as Dallin in our family photo from exactly only 1 year ago.

The weekend

We went on a Ward campout this last weekend. We slept in our tent. The kids did well except for Russ who kept waking up and Todd had to keep blowing his nose. Something is off with the system in Todd's truck so when we're driving his horn will randomly honk. It's a light honk 3-4 times. It seemed to happen everytime we were driving by somebody. It was funny. It reminded us of the Brian Regan skit about the horn honking.

The cool Kearns came to visit. We enjoyed it very much. The kids get along really well, and so do us adults.

This is in mommy and daddy's bed in the morning.
