The weekend

We went on a Ward campout this last weekend. We slept in our tent. The kids did well except for Russ who kept waking up and Todd had to keep blowing his nose. Something is off with the system in Todd's truck so when we're driving his horn will randomly honk. It's a light honk 3-4 times. It seemed to happen everytime we were driving by somebody. It was funny. It reminded us of the Brian Regan skit about the horn honking.

The cool Kearns came to visit. We enjoyed it very much. The kids get along really well, and so do us adults.

Our trip to Yakima & kitties

About a month ago we noticed our kitty was pregnant. Then last night she had 4 little babies. It's been so fun for the kids to see them. All babies are so cute!

I drove with my sister Wendy to Yakima for the kids' track break. The kids traveled well and it was fun to have her to talk with. Todd surprised us by showing up for the weekend because he had some business stuff to do not too far away! We enjoyed the beautiful weather. The last 2 days my mom, dad and brother all got majorly sick- but none of us did.

Warm Day!

First watermelon of the summer. Red and juicy. Sweeeet! Dallin loves wearing these jammies that are too small for him and his toe sticks out.

We went to the tulip festival at Thanksgiving Point today. By the end we were all dying of heat and Anna kept crying and saying she couldn't walk.

Todd liked taking pictures of the kids doing backhandsprings.

Easter and stuff

Here's Kaylee dressed up as a dancer for a thing at school. She loves wearing makeup, getting new clothes and all that girly stuff.

The kids have Mega been into writing with chalk on the driveway. I love how Anna sounds everything out. (Easter- Estr)

Todd hates dandelions! But Lincoln was a wonderful helper on Saturday pulling them up. (There are like a thousand more though)

It was fun while the weather warmed up to play outside. Now it's back to cold.

Growing up

I decided to take a picture of the kids each month. (Except I haven't been doing Russell, darnit) So here is April: Kaylee- enjoying jump roping at school, gymnastics, playing with her friends, and keeping her promise to not get any more Webkinz until August. (It's been very difficult) Lincoln- started doing baseball and has practice atleast twice a week, but daddy takes care of most of that. Reads the Book of Mormon every night. Seriously.

Anna- Still loves changing clothes all the time. Likes playing Sorry and eating (like mommy) the eating part that is--I don't like changing clothes, I like staying in my pj's.

Dallin- I know, where's his real smile? Oh well. But he has memorized perfectly the first 6 Articles of Faith. It's amazing to listen to him. We love hearing him say "awesome" in his excited voice and he's still obsessed with trucks, trailors and tractors. Cute baby Russell is happy and active and growing up.

Wow, I was uploading this picture and then when I came back and saw it I thought it was of Dallin. This is Russ and I thought it was cute how he kneels down to look through the diamond to see out.

He also loves holding balls and climbing up on the table. We can't keep him off of it!!

This is Dallin. He was so excited to show me how he hooked up a dog leash to his pants and then hung it from a bar to swing around (and pull up on his pants)
